On November 7, it will be that time again. The costume association D’Holzar Fischen invites you to “Gmiedle beianônd” – an evening for young and old at the Kurhaus Fiskina in Fischen. Tickets for €18 will be available starting Monday, October 19 from 8:00 a.m. at the Fischen Guest Information Center. From Tuesday, October 20, they will also be available at all guest information centers of the Hörnerdörfer or online plus pre-sale fees at eventim.de.

This year, visitors can again look forward to a varied program:

The six young men of the Duanix Danzlmusi come from Chiemgau and represent true Bavarian folk music with lots of energy, tradition, and good mood. With two bass flugelhorns, flugelhorn, guitar, accordion, and double bass, the music group brings the typical atmosphere of a Bavarian dance music to the stage, inviting the audience to listen, clap along, and of course, dance.
The repertoire blends traditional folk music with lively polkas, waltzes, and other well-known melodies. At its core is the joy of making music together. With their down-to-earth and authentic style, the group embodies Bavarian music culture and shows that traditional folk music can still excite young and old today. Appearances on television at the Servus Musikantenstammtisch or at BR “Z’sammgspuit” testify to the musical quality of the group, which has become known far beyond its local boundaries.

The Jodlergruppe Hirschberg Appenzell was founded in 1988 and has since passionately preserved the traditional yodeling of Appenzellerland. Their repertoire is diverse and ranges from Ruggusserli, Zäuerli, and Chlausezäuerli to traditional yodel songs from various regions of Switzerland, as well as Ratzliedli and humorous performances.
The group is known not only for its musical quality but also for its natural and down-to-earth manner. At yodeling festivals, the Jodlergruppe Hirschberg has repeatedly received excellent ratings and has released several recordings throughout its history, including in 2023 “Vo Herzä, d’Hirschberger”.
Since 2019, Richard Hinrichs has been the musical director of the group, while Mirjam Bösch-Fässler has held the presidency since 2019. This current formation thus combines long-standing experience with new musical impulses.
The Jodlergruppe Hirschberg Appenzell stands for lived Appenzeller tradition, authentic natural yodeling, musical versatility, and sociable joy of life. Through their performances and events, they make an important contribution to keeping the unique yodel culture of Appenzellerland alive and making it known beyond the region.

The Oberallgäu yodeling is represented by Julia and Karo from “Duesch mit”. The two young women from Ofterschwang and Gunzesried have been making music together since 2020 and impress with their harmonizing voices as well as their clear and full yodels.

The program is rounded off by the Knopfsaitemuseg, the alphorn players, as well as the plattler and other club groups of the costume association. This year, the announcement will be made by Poldi Willwerth.

The costume association “D’Holzar” looks forward to a joyful evening with young and old!
