Advent magic at the Busche Berta farmhouse: a special kind of Christmas market

When the scent of mulled wine, cinnamon, and freshly baked treats combines with the charm of a historical farmhouse, it's time for the Advent market at the Busche Berta farmhouse again.
On the 1st Advent Sunday, November 29, 2026, the municipality of Ofterschwang, together with the women's meeting and numerous voluntary helpers, invites you to the annual Advent market from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

In and around the listed Busche Berta farmhouse, visitors can expect a festive start to the Advent season. The special atmosphere of the historical estate, lovingly decorated rooms, and exhibitors from the Allgäu make the market a fixed part of the pre-Christmas season in southern Oberallgäu for many years.
In the lovingly decorated rooms, exhibitors from southern Allgäu present handmade products and creative gift ideas. The range includes wooden and metalwork, jewelry, and self-sewn items such as traditional skirts or headbands, as well as Advent wreaths, candles, oils, and Christmas cards, along with handmade bags. Here, everyone can find the perfect Christmas gift.
The barn and outdoor area also invite exploration and leisure. The pottery “s’Alpgfühl” showcases its special ceramic works, while at the Allgäu Wild Forge, regional specialties can be tasted. In the Busche Berta mountain distillery, distillates and liqueurs are available for tasting and purchase.
There will also be plenty of food and drink. Look forward to delicious grilled items from the village shop, coffee and homemade cakes (also available to take away), as well as mulled wine and children's punch. Musical accompaniment adds to the festive atmosphere and makes the Advent market a special experience for the whole family.
Parking is available at the World Cup Express. On this day, there will be no parking restrictions, allowing visitors to use the parking lot free of charge.
Admission is free. The proceeds from the Advent market will again fully benefit local clubs.
